Joluv Arts Entertainment has once again hit the news stance as they produced Manding Morry’s new album called “Dokuwolom”. The spectacular masterpiece will be launched and released on Saturday 20th December, 2014 at the Jama Hall of Kairaba Beach Hotel.
First known by his stepping-stone song called ‘Felekoteleh’ (gazing at me like TV), the rap star is now being dubbed as the pioneer of afro-rap in Gambia. He has established himself as the premier live artiste on the afro-manding circuit. From an extraordinarily talented teen quintet to one of contemporary afro-rap’s most powerful forces, Manding Morry’s upcoming album will stimulate the minds of the people and let them know what Joluv Arts have created.
Speaking at a press conference, the Manager of Joluv Arts Entertainment, Sally Njie, known in the music business as Sista Njie, said at their level, everything is set for the event and that they are counting on the unflinching support of the loyal fans of Gambian music in making the package an everlasting success. She said the album is structured to whet the appetite of both local and international audience.
For Manding Morry, this is an album he has been working on for the whole of his life. He said they had put a lot of efforts in its production and that, without doubt, this will be a history making event. He assured the fans of the best of his performance, and of course, the revelation of his new tracks. Answering to questions from the journalists, Manding cited reasons for his cultural style and
disclosed that his favorite song in the album is “Musubutela”, preaching husbands who batter their wives.
The new album, executively produced by Joluv Arts, is recorded in State Of Mic, Sunland Studio, Xalam Studio and Shyboy Entertainment.
The optimistic Manding Morry, he assured that the album is comparable to ‘no’ other as it will surface the special appearance of other artists including his blood brother, Jalex. He said the preparatory rehearsals with the band are at high gear for its successful launching.
